Deploying

Take your Syndra app to production.

On this page

Syndra Cloud runs in 30+ regions and routes each client to the nearest edge. There’s nothing to deploy for the sync layer itself but there are a few things to check before launch.

Production checklist

  1. Use production keys

Create a production environment and swap in its keys. Development and production data are fully isolated.

    Terminal
    syndra env create production
    syndra keys create --env production
  2. Deploy access rules

Rules are versioned with your project. Push them before (or with) the client release that depends on them.

    Terminal
    syndra deploy --env production
  3. Set allowed origins

Restrict which domains can connect with the public key in Project → Settings → Origins.

Self-hosting

Prefer to run it yourself? The Syndra server is a single binary backed by Postgres.

Terminal
docker run -p 8080:8080 \
  -e DATABASE_URL=postgres://… \
  -e SYNDRA_SECRET_KEY=sk_… \
  ghcr.io/syndra/server:2.4
